Define the Houston work location
Houston coverage extends across distinct north, west, southwest, southeast and east-side communities. I-45, I-10, US 290, US 59/I-69 and the outer corridors can connect an employer’s locations without making them interchangeable work sites. Supply exact addresses and shift times, and let candidates assess their own routes. Do not assume that someone considering one side of the region will accept a rotation across the entire metro.
Define the region before defining the candidate
A regional leadership search should specify the number and location of practices, reporting relationships and required travel. Explain whether the leader has clinical governance responsibilities, commercial responsibilities or both. A regional title can cover very different jobs, so the search brief needs to make the actual remit clear.
Keep an Houston base separate from regional coverage
If the position may be based in Houston but covers practices elsewhere, communicate that distinction. Specify any relocation requirement and the frequency of in-person visits. This site focuses on employer inquiries connected to Houston and nearby communities; regional searches are discussed individually with Business Executive Group.
